Abstract
An SME from Northern Sweden is manufacturing custom made drums, based on specific orders. Each order is individual and there is often a request for new materials and specially made design. The company wants to find partners producing drum bodies, special skins or tuning devices. A cooperation could be formed in both development and production.
Description
Drum bodies are often produced by multi layer wooden laminate that is formed circular and glued, but also other materials are of interest. The company wants to find partners with special skills in materials, suitable for production of drums, as well as companies specialised in the sound and vibration features of drums.
Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
Knowledge in drum manufactoring such as technology for gradient edges or special features of special material with regard to sound and vibration.
Knowledge of tuning of drums
