A Swedish SME has developed an electric motor with differential gear that gives high torque and high torque density, and can be used as generator as well. It can use fast gear or two mechanical gear ratios.
It can also be used for servo applications, due to high stiffness and precision.
It includes a version as actuator for linear movement.
The SME is looking for technical cooperation with companies active in automotive sector, heavy duty vehicles or servo motors.

The electric motor with gearbox can have a fast gear, a gearbox with 2 gears or a differential gear, depending on use. This system has high efficiency and it is also possible to use the system as a generator.
