Robust and reliable Biodiesel Processor
Abstract
A Swedish SME manufactures biodiesel processors, equipped with a patented, water-free, cleaning process step. The biodiesel processor is very robust and reliable, with high sustainability potential. All raw material and biodiesel exposed parts are made of stainless steel to ensure long lifetime. The SME is looking for technical cooperation with owners of raw material for installation and production of biodiesel.
Description
The SME manufactures biodiesel processors with capacities ranging between 2.000 and 340.000 litres per 24 hours. All processors with a capacity exceeding 3000 litres per 24 hours are so called PE processors, built for acid esterification in combination with one or two trans-esterification steps. A batch system vouches for flexibility in handling different feed stocks. If chosen, the processor can run continuously and produce batch after batch automatically. All processors are delivered with a performance guarantee, confirming the processor capacity, as well as stating that the biodiesel produced will meet the ASTM 6751 and EN 14214 standards. This provided that processor instructions and raw material specifications are followed.
Innovative Aspects:
All PE model processors are automatic, operated by a touch panel. They are factory tested before delivery, skid mounted for easy installation and easy to transport. PE processors are adapted to handle oils of all kinds (also UCO or WCO) with an FFA (Free Fatty Acids) percentage up to 20%, as well as animal fats. They are built with methanol recovery, water free washing and a mechanical refining system.
