Clare McKeague
European Business Executive
Clare is the team’s European Business Executive, she is involved in the delivery and coordination of the network’s services in relation to business cooperation, internationalisation and EU information requirements for regional business.
This includes assisting companies to find prospective European contacts for sales, supply, distribution, agency and any other aspects of business cooperation, as well as sourcing information on regulations, legislation and policy which affect regional companies doing business in the internal market.
On secondment from Regional Development Agency One North East, Clare has a background in both public and private sector and has worked closely with business of all sizes from SMEs to multinationals as well as public organisation and bodies such as the European Commission.
A graduate in Social Policy and Politics she has previously worked within the private sector and has now been with the European Commission’s SME business support networks for over three years.
