Commercial Manager
Dr Andrew Round is the Commercial Manager at Enterprise Europe Network and CPI. Aiding companies in their commercialization of IPR, his role involves strategic planning, assessment and analysis of business cases, and technologies and then planning, developing and executing said programmes.
Andrew has over 10 years experience of early stage technology commercialisation and has been part of team that took a bench scale technology (start-up) to full industrial scale and a float on the AIM market. He has created 4 spin-out companies while working for a venture capital firm (in the field of biosensors, diagnostics, biomarkers and therapeutics) and managed 2 as their CEO for a number of years, raising finance (both private and public) and leading the companies to commercial success.
Andrew also has significant experience in technology and company due diligence in the life science, IT-chemicals and materials 'space' having worked on over 40 programmes while working for a world leading consulting company.
